They are seeking a Senior Assembly Technician to join their team. The Role As a Senior Assembly Technician, you will play a key role within the Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) function, supporting the build and integration of high-precision space hardware. Key Responsibilities +Assemble and integrate mechanical and electrical components, sub-assemblies, and systems in accordance with technical drawings and work instructions +Perform electrical wiring, cable harnessing and connector terminations to recognised industry standards (e.g. IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620) +Carry out soldering and rework activities in line with IPC-J-STD-001 +Create and maintain risk assessments +Accurately record test data and complete all required project and quality documentation Key Skills and Experience: +ONC / HNC / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent practical experience +5–10 years’ experience in a hands-on assembly, integration or test role, ideally within aerospace, defence or electronics +Strong practical skills in mechanical fitting, wiring and assembly +Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and wirin...
