We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Class 2 Refuse Driver to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for the collection and transportation of refuse and recycling materials in a safe and efficient manner.
You will complete an induction on your first day and need to pass a driving assessment.
The start time is 7 am, and you will be working a 40-hour week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate refuse collection vehicles in compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Ensure timely and efficient collection of waste and recyclables.
* Perform daily vehicle checks and report any issues using their app portal.
* Maintain a high standard of customer service.
* You will be required from time to time to help with the moving of bins.
Requirements:
* Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving license.
* Digi tacho card
* CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
* Ability to drive a refuse vehicle around tight residential roads.
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
* Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
