Job Title: Cath Lab Radiographer

Rate: £25 – £26 per hour
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hrs, no on-call
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 6 Cath Lab Radiographer to join our client’s team in Northampton. This role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality imaging services using Philips equipment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the cardiology team and ensuring the best possible care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities:
* Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in the catheterisation laboratory, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
* Operate and maintain Philips imaging equipment.
* Assist cardiologists during procedures.
* Adhere to radiation safety protocols.
* Prepare patients for procedures and monitor their condition during imaging.
* Maintain accurate records of imaging activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Degree in Radiography or equivalent
* HCPC registration
* Experience in a catheterisation laboratory setting
* Proficiency with Philips imaging equipment
* Strong understanding of radiation safety principles
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
