Kitchen Porter
Job Purpose
The Kitchen Porter is a busy role and the successful candidate will work together with a dedicated team of chefs and kitchen support staff to provide an excellent service in our two Clubhouses.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking, reliable and friendly individual to join our team within an award-winning golf club.
The position offers flexible working hours and work life balance. The position works on a rota basis and will require some evening work.
Key Duties/Responsibilities
* Working in our two busy kitchens that provide food for our members, staff, visitors and functions;
* Washing up dishes, and keeping the kitchen areas tidy and organised;
* Assisting the chefs with any tasks they need completed;
* Customer focused to provide an excellent service;
* Enjoy working as part of a team;
* Hardworking, flexible and willing to learn;
* Previous kitchen experience preferable but training will be provided
Job Type: Working circa 4 days per week. You must be able to work Monday to Friday on a rota basis – including evenings / holiday and sickness cover. It may also include weekend shifts.
This job is temporary from end of March to end of October to cover the busy season, with a possibility of reduced hours over the winter period.
N.B. You must be available to work shifts during the week. Unfortunately this vacancy will not suit students.
