Canteen Manager
Location: Llanidloes
Reports to: Site Director
Purpose
Undertake all tasks within the canteen to ensure a high-quality service to all staff across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ordering of stock including raising/receipting PO's on SAP
2. End of day / week / month accounts
3. Continuously review menus and
4. Preparing and cooking of food
5. Continuously review processes/procedures including compliance documentation to ensure we are compliant with legislation
6. Lead onsite events such as summer BBQ and staff Christmas dinner
7. Work with suppliers to minimise spend on stock whilst ensuring quality menu offering
8. Identify ways to maximise footfall i.e. theme days
9. Participate in on site engagement activities i.e. Free Breakfast Friday's / charity fundraising
10. Stock taking and product rotation
11. Serving of food and beverages
12. Collect monies and operate cash till
13. Responsible for cashing up at the end of the shift
14. Cleaning of kitchen equipment, worktops, tables and floors
15. Opening/Closing canteen and the start/end of shift
16. Report faults so they can be put right quickly to avoid downtime and potential loss of stock
17. New menu ideas including buffet options
18. Buffets / refreshments for on-site meetings
