Are you an experienced Legal Cashier looking for your next opportunity in a supportive and well-established firm? We’re working with a respected legal practice in Doncaster that is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Cashier to join their finance team.
About the Role:
As Legal Cashier, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the firm’s financial operations. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions in line with SRA Accounts Rules, and supporting the wider finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing client and office account transactions
* Bank reconciliations and daily banking
* Managing petty cash and expenses
* Ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules
* Supporting month-end and year-end processes
* Liaising with fee earners and external stakeholders
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in a Legal Cashier role (essential)
* Strong understanding of SRA Accounts Rules
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience with legal accounting software (e.g., LEAP, SOS, or similar)
