A brilliant opportunity has come up to join a respected insurance business in a key leadership role that sits right at the heart of the department.
This position plays an important part in supporting the Head of Department, guiding a team of Client Advisors and helping drive both service quality and commercial performance.
We are looking for an experienced people manager with a strong background in insurance and a natural ability to motivate and guide a team.

Some of the Insurance Team Manager responsibilities will be:
1. Support the Head of Department with delivering the commercial strategy, keeping the team focused on sales objectives and overall business growth
2. Lead, motivate and develop the Client Advisor team, ensuring skills, strengths and technical knowledge are understood and used effectively
3. Improve team processes, client journeys and efficiencies, sharing ideas that can enhance ways of working across the business
4. Oversee all training, development and onboarding for new starters, ensuring compliant and effective inductions
5. Manage performance, absence and other HR processes in line with company policies where required
6. Monitor compliance with FCA regulation through regular reviews, supervision and file checks
7. Maintain high standards of service, accuracy and professionalism when dealing with clients and insurers
8. Ensure workloads are balanced, renewals and MTAs are managed on time and recommendations to clients are presented clearly
9. Support the resolution of complaints and bad debt queries in line with company procedures
10. Embed company values within the team, encouraging behaviours that support a positive culture
To be successful in this role you will need the following skills and experience:
11. Cert CII or equivalent experience
12. Management experience, ideally within insurance
13. Experience within a regulated or FCA environment is desirable
14. Confident leading a team while also working independently
15. Comfortable working to deadlines and managing change
This will be working full-time Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm earning a salary between £35,000-£45,000 depending on experience.
