Company Description
Welcome to Tribe. We’re a values-led, award-winning wealth manager on a mission to redefine what it means to invest well.
Since 2016, we’ve been building a different kind of wealth management firm. One that brings performance and impact together to create meaningful value. One that considers every investment through two lenses: the potential monetary returns it may deliver, as well as its social, economic and environmental outcomes. We call this our ‘twin-lens’.
As a fast-growing, purpose-driven business, we’re proud to support a diverse and deeply engaged client community. Our clients want to use their wealth to do more: to put it to work in a way that will help bring about prosperity for people and planet, whilst also generating a financial return.
We’re a certified B Corporation and signatories to the UN Principles for Responsible Investment and the Women in Finance Charter. We identify the businesses we invest in by using the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These are the ‘north star’ of our investment approach; they’re integral to how we understand our clients’ values, as well as the investments we choose, and how we report on them.
We embrace innovation over status quo. We find fresh perspectives by sharing our knowledge, skills and expertise. And we’re united by a shared belief in the power of capital to create positive change.
If you’re excited by the idea of joining a collaborative, forward-thinking team of investment, impact, and client specialists — and helping to drive meaningful change in the industry — we’d love to hear from you.
Role Description
At Tribe, we believe finance can – and should – be a force for good. We exist to direct capital towards a more sustainable, inclusive future. As an Equity Analyst, you’ll sit at the heart of that mission: shaping how we select, manage, and evolve our in-house equity strategies. The role will directly benefit our clients by adding capacity and enhancing our existing stock selection process as well as eventually expanding our existing product suite.
This role is an opportunity to work with a purpose-led impact investment team, combining rigorous analysis with meaningful impact. You’ll help deepen our direct equity capability, strengthen portfolio construction, and contribute to the evolution of our product suite — all in service of better outcomes for people, planet and portfolios.
We’re looking for someone who brings expertise in equity analysis and is ready for the next step. You might be a mid-career analyst or a junior PM who wants to do more with your skills — for a business that’s building something different.
Your role in the team
You’ll play a central role in developing and leading our in-house direct equity approach, from initial selection to long-term stewardship. Your work will be grounded in robust fundamental analysis and framed through Tribe’s two equity lenses: Sustainable Communities and Sustainable Ecosystems.
Key responsibilities:
* Equity research & selection: Conduct deep fundamental analysis, using financial modelling and data-driven insight to inform conviction-led stock selection.
* Portfolio construction & risk: Shape and support portfolio construction processes, embedding risk management throughout.
* Oversight of in-house equity strategies: Help manage and evolve our stock universe, aligned to our thematic mandates.
* Client engagement & thought leadership: Contribute to content, reporting, and presentations that bring our strategies to life for clients.
* Team collaboration: Work closely with Investment Managers, supporting portfolio decision-making and helping respond to client queries with clarity and confidence.
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone with analytical rigour, a collaborative mindset, and a belief in the role capital can play in building a better future.
Ideally, you have:
* 5+ years’ experience in equity research or fund management, preferably with exposure to sustainable investing.
* Strong capability in fundamental analysis, valuation techniques, and financial modelling.
* Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Bloomberg and/or FactSet is highly desirable. Coding (Python, R, VBA, Matlab) a plus.
* Experience working in multi-functional teams with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills — confident presenting to internal teams and clients alike.
* A meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to deliver under time pressure.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to self-manage in a fast-moving environment.
Even more importantly, you are:
* Curious, adaptable, and driven by purpose.
* Eager to innovate and play a part in building something new.
* Comfortable challenging the status quo in service of better outcomes.
* A collaborative team player who values openness, trust, and diversity of thought.
* Ambitious — not just for yourself, but for the change you want to see in the world.
