We are excited to invite applications for a passionate and committed Year 4 Class Teacher to join our welcoming and inclusive primary school in Richmond. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated practitioner to work with pupils at an important stage in Key Stage 2, helping them consolidate prior learning, develop independence, and flourish academically and personally.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a Year 4 class, delivering high-quality teaching across all areas of the National Curriculum. You will be expected to plan engaging and creative lessons that inspire curiosity, foster a love of learning, and ensure all pupils make excellent progress. Strong classroom management, high expectations, and differentiation to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND and EAL, will be essential.
Collaboration is at the heart of our school. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure continuity across the year group, contribute to curriculum development, and take an active role in supporting the wider school community. Assessment will be used strategically to inform planning and track progress, with a focus on raising attainment and supporting personal growth.
This position is suitable for both Early Career Teachers and experienced practitioners. ECTs will benefit from a structured induction programme, mentoring, and ongoing professional development, while experienced teachers will have opportunities to lead initiatives and contribute to school-wide improvement.
