Location: Saffron Walden / On-site

Salary: £24,000

Temporary to Permanent / Permanent: Immediate start!

Working hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm

An exciting opportunity for a driven individual who is looking to become part of an ambitious and growing business. You will be joining an established and successful organisation and become a valued member of the customer services team as a Customer Services Advisor.

My client is a family run business committed to providing customers with the highest quality of both products and service. The business have doubled their workforce and turnover in the past 5 years, with plans for further expansion into new markets in the coming years.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Act as the first point of contact for all calls into the business and when greeting visitors.
2. Franking post
3. Processing sales orders
4. Processing proforma payments for orders over the phone.
5. Liaising with the Accounts Department regarding any customer accounts.
6. Liaising with the Warehouse on customer orders and deliveries.
7. Filing of customer orders and shipping information.
8. Responding to incoming emails and customer enquiries.
9. Following up on all enquiries coming in regarding potential business.
10. Recording of information on CRM.
11. Keeping in touch calls with in-house customer accounts.
12. Raising quotations/price lists for the sales team.
13. End of day procedures (invoicing, reporting).
14. Providing support to the Customer Service Manager.

Essential skills:

15. Must be able to work to deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy
16. The ability to multi-task and possess good time management skills.
17. Excellent interpersonal skills, both in person and on the phone.
18. The ability to work well under pressure.
19. Deals with Customers in a professional manner.
20. Able to be a dedicated and flexible team member.
21. Highly motivated and enthusiastic about achieving customer satisfaction.
