Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrician Multi Skilled to work across our properties in the North Lakes area. This is a permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with on-call duties on a rota basis). The salary is £38,372 per annum, plus a van and excellent benefits including a Health Cash Plan.
About the role
As part of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for fixing faults, installing electrical systems, and ensuring homes are safe, warm, and comfortable. You will handle a variety of tasks from planned installations to urgent repairs, with the independence to complete jobs thoroughly and correctly the first time.
Typical daily responsibilities include:
* Completing all assigned jobs right the first time, adopting a whole-job repair approach to deliver excellent customer service.
* Performing testing, inspection, electrical installation, and repairs.
* Ensuring all work is high-quality and compliant with regulations.
* Using multi-skilling to improve first-time fixes and reduce repeat visits.
* Working across properties in the North Lakes, with scheduled jobs to ensure clear planning.

Candidate requirements
* City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation or equivalent.
* Qualified to 18th edition IET wiring regulations, with electrical inspection and testing certification (2391) and AM2, or equivalent.
* Experience in electrical repairs, installation, testing, and inspection within housing environments.
* Strong fault-finding skills and knowledge to diagnose and repair electrical faults effectively.
* Experience in other building trades (multi-skilled).
* A flexible, proactive approach, capable of using initiative and judgment.

Additional details
* Working Monday to Friday, with participation in an out-of-hours rota, earning additional on-call payments.
* Based at our office in Maryport, covering the North Lakes.
* Proficiency with technology for logging jobs, online learning, and team collaboration is required.
* A Basic DBS check is required, which we will pay for.
* A full, current driving license is necessary as a company van will be provided for work and commuting.
