About the Role
The role of Deputy Nursery Manager is a critical part of the leadership team within Salford family nurseries. The role requires an experienced EA who can:
* Lead and inspire a team of passionate Early Educators
* Ensure the highest standards of care and education for all children
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
* Create and implement engaging, age‑appropriate curriculum
* Oversee daily operations and maintain a safe, inclusive environment
* Provide exceptional support for children with SEND, working closely with families and external professionals
* Ability to act as Nursery SENCO
About you
You will be a dynamic and enthusiastic leader with a passion for early years education, who has:
* A full and relevant childcare qualification at Level 3 or above
* A minimum 2 years post‑qualifying experience of working in early years
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
* A commitment to safeguarding, supporting children with SEND and promoting inclusive practice
