GSL Education are currently hiring a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to work in schools across Doncaster. As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain engaged with set work and maintaining a productive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher. Deliver pre-set lesson materials and instructions. Manage classroom behaviour effectively and consistently. Support pupils in staying focused and completing tasks. Report on pupil engagement and any classroom issues to teaching staff. Requirements of Cover Supervisor: Experience working in a school or with young people is desirable. Strong communication and behaviour management skills. Confident, adaptable, and proactive approach. Ability to build positive relationships with pupils. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
