Overview
Home. There's no place like it. And there's no feeling like helping people create the joy of feeling truly at home. At Dunelm, that's what we do. We're the UK's number one choice for homewares because we make home life lovelier for our customers. And the caring and supportive culture we've created makes this a place you'll feel right at home too.
We're looking for a creative soul to join our Marketing team as an Advertising Manager. If you get excited about big ideas, love crafting campaigns that make people feel something, and enjoy seeing your work out in the world, this could be just the role for you.
You'll be working alongside our Senior Advertising Manager, helping to shape and deliver brilliant, integrated marketing campaigns that bring the Dunelm brand to life. From TV and radio to everything in between, you'll be involved in all our above-the-line media activity.
It's a busy role, no doubt about it, but it's also full of exciting opportunities to make a real difference. You'll be part of a team that's all about understanding what matters to our customers and turning that into campaigns that feel warm, welcoming and unmistakably Dunelm.
What you'll be doing
* Support the end-to-end delivery marketing campaigns, both tactical and Brand, taking responsibility for the campaign budget, critical path and content plan.
* Day-to-day management of agency account teams for media campaigns that you are leading.
* Supporting individual briefs and cross-channel campaign management, from development to delivery and taking ownership of campaign performance and measurement.
* Leverage customer insights, analytics and first party data to improve campaign effectiveness applying a test and learn approach to all campaigns.
* Ensure all campaigns are managed and delivered on time, to the highest quality and within budget.
* Evaluate creative work and ideas with the ability to articulate what makes marketing content right for our business and brand.
* Be a conduit between Marketing, Buying and Merchandising, thoughtfully showcasing the products which support commercial plans and incentives, and have optimal stock position.
* Build and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders around the business, ensuring they are engaged in campaigns.
What we'll look for in you
You'll bring a solid understanding of different marketing channels, and ideally you'll know your way around the creative, design and production process too. You don't need to be a designer yourself, but you'll know what good looks like and how to get there.
You've got a sharp eye for detail and take pride in making sure everything is spot on. You're someone who naturally acts as a brand guardian, keeping things consistent and true to who we are.
You'll be confident working with stakeholders across the business, knowing when to listen, when to challenge and how to keep things moving. Planning and prioritising come naturally to you, even when things get busy.
- And if you're comfortable with numbers, even better. You'll be managing sizeable budgets, so being able to keep a close eye on spend and spot opportunities to optimise is a big plus.
