Nursery Practitioner - Part Time (28,5 Hours per week)

We are looking for a highly motivated Level 3+ Nursery Practitioner who can join our team to help provide an excellent provision. We believe outdoor learning is essential for children’s development. We embrace a play-based curriculum that encourages exploration, creativity, and a love for nature. We provide a safe, stimulating environment where children can learn and grow through hands-on experiences. As an Outdoor Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting children’s growth and learning. You’ll lead engaging outdoor activities, foster a sense of curiosity, and promote physical well-being through nature-based play. Is this you?

✓ Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback and support.
✓ Encourage teamwork and collaboration among children in outdoor settings.
✓ Uphold our nursery's values and promote sustainability.

Starting salary: Grade 14 Point 4 currently £25,185 FTE (actual on 28.5 hours per week = £19,399), after 6 months successfully probation salary increases to Grade 14 Point 6 currently £25,989 FTE (actual on 28.5 hours per week = £20,018).
Start Date: Week Commencing Monday 26th January if possible
Closing Date : Monday 5th January at 12pm
Interview Date: Friday 9th January
Location: Taunton
Hours: 28.5 Hours per week - (flexibility to cover holiday and sickness)
Contract: Permanent, All Year Round.
Huish Nurseries provide high quality care and education for children aged 2-4, open 49 weeks of the year from 8am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday.
