We are looking for an accountant with management accounting and business partnering experience to join a leading, engineering services, property maintenance, and facilities management business as a Finance Business Partner. Paying £60k and based in Gatwick, with hybrid working (2-3 days a week in the office), this position is a commercially focused management accounting and business partnering role.
The Role
1. Produce the month end reporting (P & L, balance sheet, cash flow) in line with Group timetables and provide transparent contract finance reporting that will withstand management scrutiny/challenge.
2. Producing accurate accounting of accrued and deferred income on a monthly basis, with clear visibility and communication to the business on non-current debt.
3. Ensure accurate and timely client billing by agreeing proposed charges with clients in advance of billing.
4. Partnering with operational managers and departmental heads to prepare full annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
5. Ad hoc analysis and presentation of complex financial information in response to senior management requests.
Your Profile
6. You will need to be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
7. Management accounting as well as business partnering, and commercial experience is essential.
8. Prior experience with contracts is advantageous but not a prerequisite. (Facilities Management, catering, cleaning etc).
