Job Description
The Lion Hotel is seeking an experienced & passionate CDP to join their growing team to enable the restaurant to cater for increasing demand.
As CDP, you will prepare and deliver excellent standards of food quality at all times, paying particular attention to dish specifications to ensure that all dishes are prepared, cooked, and delivered correctly, first time. All legal standards in terms of food safety, hygiene, and allergen processes must be maintained. You will also work closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team in the development of new dishes, training of KP's & junior chefs, and GP analysis & control.
This full-time permanent position is based on 40 hours per week with straight shifts and consecutive days off being the norm.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience in a modern kitchen at either a Commis Chef or CDP level, a real passion for teamwork, and a desire to positively influence menu content & service standards.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend a face-to-face interview followed by a short trial shift on-site at The Lion Hotel.
