Salary: £120 – £160 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic Primary Teachers to work in schools across Durham.
This rewarding role involves delivering engaging and inclusive lessons to primary-aged students while supporting their academic, social, and emotional development. The successful candidate will help create a positive and stimulating classroom environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential.
Main Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Support students according to the curriculum and syllabus
* Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
* Assess, monitor, and track students’ academic progress
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively and encourage positive learning attitudes
* Support students’ social, emotional, and academic development
* Prepare lesson resources and classroom materials
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school staff
Primary Teacher Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, ECT/NQT, or equivalent teaching qualification
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a relevant subject
* Previous experience teaching within primary schools is desirable
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* Passion for teaching and supporting young learners
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
