Role: Commercial Manager
Location: Home-based with travel across the South (key sites in Wiltshire)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £65 - £75k + car/car allowance & medical care
We’re working with a leading facilities management organisation in recruiting for a Commercial Manager to support large-scale service delivery contracts across the South East & South West, with a combined turnover of £150m+. This role will see you working closely with the Head of Commercial, senior management, and delivery teams to drive profitability, ensure robust cost control, and manage commercial risk.
You’ll take ownership of variation and change control, ensuring revenue is maximised and reconciliations are accurate and timely. Alongside this, you’ll oversee subcontractor and supply chain management, provide commercial insight to influence decision-making, and ensure governance standards are fully met.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead commercial management of high-value contracts, ensuring performance and profitability
* Drive efficiencies and identify opportunities for growth
* Manage variation/change processes, capturing all revenue opportunities
* Monitor budgets, costs, and cashflow, applying robust financial governance
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Report clearly on risks, opportunities, and commercial performance
What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience in commercial management on large contracts/projects
* Strong understanding of UK commercial and contract law
* Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
* Track record in change control, financial governance, and reporting
* Ideally degree-qualified in Law, Quantity Surveying, Built Environment, or similar
