Job Description:
Contract type: Full Time (37.5 hours per week) – Fixed Term until 28/08/2025. Location: Remote (Based in the UK). Salary: £39,605.05 per annum. Given the short timelines to recruit, we encourage candidates to apply promptly to ensure consideration.
The Curriculum Leader for English – English Language Preparation Online (ELPO) Program will contribute to delivering excellent student outcomes, quality assurance, and curriculum innovation, fostering strong collaborative work within the Program. The role involves leading key organizational elements of the ELPO Program team to support outstanding student outcomes.
The successful candidate will work with the Head of Program English to assure quality and enhance the curriculum through innovative practices. Reporting to the Head of Program English, they will collaborate with senior colleagues within and outside Study Group and be responsible for the ELPO Program outcomes.
Responsibilities include supporting the line management of teaching staff, with a teaching commitment of up to 15 hours per week. Additional hours may be assigned during periods of lower course delivery or cover needs.
Key duties:
1. Support academic oversight of the ELPO Program, including timetabling, assessment, and monitoring.
2. Provide support and feedback to ELPO tutors, assist with staff recruitment and induction.
3. Participate in meetings and represent the Program team internally and externally.
4. Contribute to strategic planning, resource allocation, and program reviews.
5. Coordinate with Student Support for student engagement and outcomes monitoring.
6. Ensure delivery standards across the program, share best practices, and contribute to curriculum development.
7. Produce reports and evaluations for quality assurance and external scrutiny.
8. Supervise consistency of delivery aligned with the Study Group LTA Strategy.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Program English or Program Director.
About You:
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; Master’s or higher preferred.
* Recognized teaching qualification (desirable).
* Experience in secondary, further, or higher education teaching.
* Leadership experience with proven success.
* Ability to provide constructive feedback and develop curricula.
* Experience working with international students and online teaching tools.
* Skills in data management, quality assurance, and digital platforms.
