Mechanical Sales Engineer
Location: Nottinghamshire
Salary: GBP 30,000 – 38,000 per annum (plus commission and benefits)
We are seeking a Mechanical Sales Engineer to join a leading engineering company based in Nottinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong mechanical background and a passion for developing commercial relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities
* Promote and sell mechanical and capital equipment solutions to a range of industrial clients
* Provide technical support and advice to customers, ensuring their requirements are fully understood and met
* Prepare and deliver technical quotations and proposals
* Liaise closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure accurate project delivery
* Travel to client sites across the UK as required
About You
* HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
* Proven track record in sales of technical or capital equipment or a strong mechanical engineering background with commercial ambition (specific training provided)
* Confident communicator with excellent relationship‑building skills
* Commercially aware, proactive, and target‑driven
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
