Purpose of the role:
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Nutmeg, Merchandising departments, and Dee Set activities within Morrison's stores.
Manage compliance and deliver consistent operational and commercial standards across all stores. Drive sales and profitability through the performance and development of Nutmeg Teams.

Key Areas
* Implement and maintain operating standards and principles across the region to maximize results.
* Ensure consistency and continually seek to improve service to internal and external customers.
* Achieve all KPIs through effective planning, supporting, and coaching team members to meet business targets.
* Assess and review performance, providing effective action plans with Nutmeg teams for continuous improvement.
Leadership:
* Successfully deliver the Nutmeg Retail strategy.
* Ensure visual merchandising standards are consistently applied in all stores.
* Communicate business and regional objectives to store teams.
* Identify underperforming stores and develop robust business plans to enhance performance.
* Provide constructive feedback to the senior retail team.
* Manage compliance with Nutmeg promotional and trading activities.
* Collaborate with Morrison's store and field teams, fostering relationships and supporting communication between Morrisons & Nutmeg.
* Be highly organized, planning workload and time effectively.
* Participate in team meetings to share key messages, celebrate successes, and promote best practices.
* Support the development of new business opportunities.
* Lead and support the development of new policies, procedures, and technology.
* Foster a culture of teamwork, resilience, and high performance.
* Adopt a coaching leadership style within the team.
People:
* Ensure training, coaching, and development of Nutmeg colleagues in stores.
* Oversee recruitment, inductions, and training in Nutmeg Stores.
* Manage performance and development of Nutmeg Supervisors.
* Handle HR responsibilities at the store level.
* Conduct regular performance reviews with direct reports.
* Implement the Nutmeg labor model, managing absence and turnover.
* Achieve set KPIs related to team performance.
Customer Service:
* Manage teams to keep stock takes and stock loss within targets, maintaining stock management procedures.
* Create a productive and efficient work environment, ensuring adherence to Morrison's policies and procedures.
* Deliver fast, friendly, and efficient customer service.
* Maintain the image and perception of the Dee Set brand for exceptional service.
* Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally.
* Represent Dee Set professionally at all times.
* Role model exceptional customer service standards in store.
