Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm
Pay: £166.32 - £230 per day (dependent on experience and pay scale)
Contract: Full-time, until the end of the academic year

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a dedicated and passionate English Teacher in Monmouthshire to join one of our thriving partner secondary schools. The successful applicant will teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 English on a full-time basis. You will be joining a forward-thinking school that prides itself on pupil progress, high standards of teaching, and strong behaviour management policies.

* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Teach and inspire pupils across KS3 and KS4 to achieve their full potential in English Language and Literature.
* Create stimulating and inclusive learning environments that promote confidence and achievement.
* Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
* Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities and learning styles.
* Collaborate with colleagues within the English department to share best practices and develop teaching resources.
* Maintain excellent communication with parents, staff, and students to support positive learning outcomes.
* Contribute to departmental meetings, professional development sessions, and whole-school initiatives.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - or working towards it.
* Previous teaching experience is desirable (minimum 1 year preferred), but ECTs/NQTs are welcome to apply.
* Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (or willingness to apply).
* Ability to provide two recent references.
* Right to work in the UK.
