CER Education is currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work across primary and secondary schools in Gateshead, supporting a range of our partner local schools and Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs).
We offer flexible work opportunities, from ad hoc supply days to long-term and full-time roles, allowing you to find a role that fits around you.
The Role
Supporting pupils in primary and secondary school settings
Working 1:1 or with small groups in the classroom
Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
Opportunities ranging from day-to-day supply to long-term placements
Flexible work to support a better work-life balance
Pay: Competitive daily rates (dependent on role and experience)

Who We're Looking For
Teaching Assistant qualification Level 2 or above (preferred)
Applicants with relevant experience working with children will also be considered
Experience supporting pupils with additional needs is desirable
Caring, patient, and adaptable approach
Confident working as part of a school team
