Are you a strong customer service professional with management experience in retail, hospitality, leisure, property, administration or another customer-facing environment?
We're recruiting for an Assistant Store Manager to join a growing business in its sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, driving sales, keeping operations organised and taking real ownership of the day-to-day running of a site.
This is a 40-hour contract, working Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30, with Saturdays on a rota, 09:00 to 13:00. There are no evening shifts, offering a strong work-life balance compared with traditional retail management roles.
The Role
As Assistant Store Manager, you'll support the smooth running of the store, helping customers with their storage requirements while ensuring the site operates to a high standard.
You'll be involved in:
1. Responding to customer enquiries and converting leads into reservations
2. Delivering excellent customer service and building strong customer relationships
3. Supporting sales activity, upselling where appropriate and maximising opportunities
