The Colorectal Nursing Service has a Band / month secondment opportunity for a motivated and compassionate nurse to join our friendly, supportive well-established team of Clinical Nurse Specialists at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The role is days/ hours per week and based mainly at the John Radcliffe and Churchill Hospitals.
Main duties of the job
As a Band / Colorectal Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will provide expert nursing care and act as the key worker for patients throughout the colorectal cancer pathway. You will coordinate care, deliver specialist assessment and symptom management, contribute to MDT decision‑making and support delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred care in line with national cancer standards, promoting care closer to home and service improvement.
