Client: BAE Systems Job Title: Procurement Manager Duration: 12 months Location : Glascoed Hourly Rate: £40 PAYE, £53.90 Umbrella Working Arrangements: 3 days per week on-site Working Hours: - 37 hours per week Key Responsibilities : Manage the source to pay process for the allocated package of activity. This may involve managing a team or may involve leading a strategically important supplier Where applicable effectively delegate workload across the team, ensuring priorities are managed. Accountable for sourcing, negotiating and contracting activities Accountable for order raising, expediting, payment of suppliers and ensuring on time in full deliveries Responsible for key supplier performance measures linked to functional and business plan, this includes but not limited to savings and value targets, supplier delivery, supplier quality and Partner to Win Demonstrate a good understanding of Company systems, including purchase to pay systems, risk and supplier management tools. Skills & Qualifications : Will have significant experience working across the source to pay lifecycle, with some experience working across the wider procurement discipline structure Good project management skills, product awareness, commercial acumen, financial awareness, risk and opportunity management Good understanding of external environment and relevant market intelligence People management experience of leading diverse teams of professionals.
