We’re now looking for a Production Assistant (12 month FTC) to support our branded content multimedia team with a wide range of production tasks across video and audio. This role offers exposure to a broad range of creative production work and would suit someone looking to build a career in branded content. About the Role This is a dynamic, hands-on role supporting the commercial multimedia team in producing engaging branded content. You’ll work closely with producers, creatives and key commercial contacts to: Contribute to research and ideation for pitches, including stories, contributors and locations Provide casting support for voiceover artists, on-screen talent and influencers Assist with production admin: including briefs, contracts, POs, call sheets, risk assessments, invoicing and insurance Manage shoot logistics such as booking studios, crew, equipment, transport and accommodation Assist on shoot days and oversee aspects of the audio production process Keep the team up to date on creative trends, events, talent and competitor activity Offer creative input and insights to enhance content quality and relevance About You We're looking for someone with a passion for production and a proactive, collaborative approach. You’ll bring: Some experience producing video content for media owners or brands Knowledge of branded content and a very strong understanding of the Guardian and Guardian Labs Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt Clear verbal and written communication and a collaborative, friendly demeanour A keen interest in emerging media trends and the creative industries Ideally, familiarity with social platform content production, client communication, or self-shooting/editing (desirable but not essential) This could be a great development opportunity if you have experience in most but not all areas—we encourage you to apply.
