Personal Assistant to CAMHS Heads of Service
Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) are looking for a self‑motivated, organised, and proactive individual to join the team as Personal Assistant to the two Heads of CAMHS. Experience in a personal assistant or senior administrative role within a dynamic health or social care environment, and a commitment to improving care and support for children and young people are desirable. A positive and flexible approach is essential.
The post will provide high‑level administrative support to the Head of Service for CAMHS Access, Advice and Getting Help Services and the Head of Service for CAMHS Getting More Help, Targeted and Risk Support Services. The post holder will liaise and communicate effectively with all levels of staff within the service and the wider Trust.
* 12‑month fixed‑term contract (may also be offered as a secondment)

* Assist Heads of Service in organising electronic calendars, appointments, correspondence and office administration
* Coordinate internal and external meetings and take minutes as required
* Monitor and prioritise all incoming communication (physical and electronic), distribute correspondence for action, draft responses, process checking and follow‑through
* Ensure Heads of Service are briefed on correspondence and action taken; respond to or redirect designated emails that come in through the Heads of Services’ accounts
* Undertake a variety of administrative functions related to recruitment and termination of staff, ensuring accurate staff information is collated and maintained confidentially as requested by the Heads of Service
* Support Heads of Service in collating information for processing complaints, grievances or investigations, maintaining a high level of confidentiality
* Accountable for efficient and accurate data being recorded on Electronic Staff Records (ESR) and E‑Manager system
* Work closely with other secretaries and administrative support within the Trust
* Participate in coordinating or leading special projects that facilitate the smooth functioning of the Heads of Service offices or support overall performance and achievement of the Trust
* Provide high‑standard, effective support to the Heads of Service
