Job Description American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with at least 1 year of recent skilled home health experience for a Home Health assignment in Washington.
Responsibilities Work in a Home Health setting, visiting patients in their homes
Case load typically consists of 4-5 patients per day, with up to 6 visits according to territory needs
Workday schedule is 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
No weekend or on-call requirements
Patients are assigned based on territory to minimize travel time
Proficiency in HCHB (Homecare Homebase) preferred for documentation
Occasional maximum driving radius of up to 100 miles may be necessary
Primary responsibilities include providing hands-on PTA interventions and care to home health patients
Travelers are expected to independently manage a daily caseload within assigned territory
Documentation tools will be provided and must be returned at the end of the assignment
System clusters patient visits to minimize driving
Former employees must be separated for at least 6 months and approved by HR before returning as travelers
Requested time off must be submitted with initial application
Travel pairs are accepted but each traveler will have individual caseloads and transportation
Requirements Current WA PTA license or compact license required
Minimum 1 year of recent skilled home health PTA experience within the last 3 years
BLS certification required
OASIS experience required for staff completing Start of Care
Active driver’s license and access to personal transportation are mandatory
Timely communication and documentation are required
License required if applicable
