We have an exciting opportunity for an Administration Lead to join our Healthcare team at HMP Leicester, a category B local prison holding men who are on remand as well as sentenced. It has an operational capacity of around 400. The prison is located in the City Centre and is a 15-minute walk from the station.

Monday to Friday 8am-4pm
Salary
This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to 30,660per annum - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Administrator Lead, your responsibilities will vary. You will
1. Take charge in ensuring provision of administrative, clerical and secretarial services for the Practice Plus Group healthcare delivery on site.
2. Lead the Administration Team in all managerial functions, including HR, training, competency and efficiency.
3. Facilitate the effective management of clinics and rota template, monitoring DNAs/cancellations and duplicate/ ineffective use of clinics; ensuring all referrals are managed efficiently and all data is available and up to date at all times.
4. Be responsible for supporting the Head of Healthcare in the preparation, distribution and recording of complaints.
5. Support the registered nurse in implementing an agreed plan of care in association with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received
6. Promote safe patient care
7. Develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.

Qualifications required
15. Maths and English language skills at GCSE level or ability to demonstrate numeracy and literacy skill
16. NVQ 2 Business Administration or equivalent experience
17. Working to tight deadlines

20. Using and maintaining databases, internet, Microsoft Office applications or equivalent, SystmOne
21. Ability to prioritise workload /ability to delegate appropriately
