Job Title: Compliance Administrator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Compliance Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the business operates within all legal, contractual, and ethical requirements. You will oversee the development and enforcement of compliance processes, carry out regular audits, and support accurate payroll and data management.
This is a key position that protects the business from financial, legal, and reputational risk by ensuring worker on-boarding, right-to-work checks, AWR compliance, data accuracy, and GDPR requirements are consistently met.
You will work closely with payroll, accounts, and operational teams to ensure timesheets, pay data, and client documentation are processed accurately and to deadline. Success in this role is measured through strict KPIs covering compliance accuracy, timely reporting, and audit completion.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance Management
Develop and maintain compliance procedures for candidate on-boarding, document verification, right‑to‑work checks, and GDPR compliance.
Review and verify all documents before activating new candidates.
Issue all Key Information Documents, Assignment Details, and Holiday Policies to new starters.
Ensure Terms of Business, New Client Forms, and AWR documents are issued, returned, and correctly logged.
Monitor shared inboxes daily and resolve compliance queries promptly.
Conduct regular internal audits on client files and worker documentation to ensure full legal and policy compliance.
Complete KPI reporting and support client audits to maintain a Clean Pass status.CRM & Internal Data Management
Maintain the accuracy and integrity of data within the CRM and internal systems.
Carry out weekly checks to ensure worker records, pay rates, holiday entitlements, and AWR data are up to date.
Provide corrective feedback to Consultants where data gaps or errors are identified.
Train new employees on compliance standards and data accuracy processes.Payroll & Registration Support
Support the Payroll Administrator by checking and processing timesheets, verifying hours, rates, overtime, expenses, and roll‑ups.
Ensure bank details, worker status, pay rates, and holiday data are entered correctly.
Help ensure weekly payroll deadlines are consistently met.
Manage pay-related queries and liaise with payroll partners as required.
Provide payroll cover when needed.Reporting & Audit Compliance
Produce and submit weekly compliance reports covering:
Right‑to‑work and ID checks
National Minimum Wage compliance
Modern Slavery checks
Working Time Directive reports
