<div><h3>Finance Assistant</h3><p><b>Salary:</b> 13.70<br/><b>Location:</b> Warrington (Hybrid - 2 days in office)<br/><b>Hours:</b> 8:00am - 5:00pm<br/><b>Contract:</b> Temporary(with potential for role development)</p><h3>Overview</h3><p>We are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join our busy finance team. This role is ideal for someone who can quickly integrate into the team, take ownership of key processes, and operate with minimal training.</p><p>Youll be a confident and capable individual who can hit the ground running and support day-to-day financial operations.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Perform <b>bank reconciliations</b> accurately and efficiently</li><li>Process <b>payments</b>, including investigating and resolving any issues</li><li>Manage <b>travel and expense processing</b>, including a mix of system-based and manual processes</li><li>Support <b>overhead processing</b>, with responsibilities evolving over time</li><li>Work closely with <b>Accounts Payable, Credit Control and Billing teams</b> to ensure smooth finance operations</li><li>Assist with <b>system and process improvements</b>, adapting to new tools where required</li><li>Support wider <b>finance project work</b> where needed (desirable)</li><li>Identify and resolve discrepancies, maintaining financial accuracy</li></ul><h3>Key Requirements</h3><ul><li>Proven experience in a similar Finance Assistant role</li><li>Strong <b>bank reconciliation experience</b> (essential)</li><li>Working knowledge of <b>SAP</b> (desirable)</li><li>Experience processing <b>payments and understanding transaction flows</b></li><li>Good understanding of <b>Accounts Payable processes</b></li><li>Ability to <b>investigate and resolve payment issues independently</b></li><li>Comfortable adapting to <b>new systems and changing processes</b></li><li>Able to work with <b>minimal supervision and training</b></li></ul><h3>Skills & Attributes</h3><ul><li>Self-sufficient, proactive, and organised</li><li>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability</li><li>Good communication skills and team collaboration</li><li>Easy to work with and able to build relationships across teams</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment</li></ul><h3>Team & Environment</h3><p>Youll be part of a small, collaborative finance team and will work closely with other finance functions while maintaining ownership of your own workload.</p><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Hybrid working available (2 days in the office)</li><li>Opportunity to take on additional responsibilities as the role evolves</li><li>Immediate impact role suited to an experienced and confident individual</li></ul><p>Adecco Group UK & Ireland is an Equal Opportunities Employer.</p></div>
