This Psychology Graduate role is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience supporting children in both mainstream and small-group environments.
As a Psychology Graduate, you will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils with additional learning or developmental needs. This position will give you practical exposure to educational and behavioural strategies, helping you develop valuable skills for a future career in teaching, SEN support, or educational psychology.
This Psychology Graduate role is perfect for recent graduates with a degree in Psychology who are looking to gain insight into how schools operate, understand pupil development, and experience the daily responsibilities of supporting young learners.
The Role: Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils requiring extra support
Assist with learning activities, lesson plans, and individual support plans
Encourage confidence, independence, and communication skills
Support classroom staff in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Hours: 08:3015:30 with a 30-minute break
Were Looking For: Minimum 2:1 degree in Psychology
Empathetic, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting children
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Some experience with children or young people is helpful but not essential
Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to apply for one
