It offers a structured and collaborative working environment with opportunities for hands-on experience and professional development.Job Requirements:Support the development of a new process system within nuclear industryDelivery of typical process engineering deliverables with oversight from the projects principal process engineerUnderstanding of nuclear safety case processesEssential:3-6+ years' experience of designing process systems.Experience of working in a highly regulated industry, strong preference to nuclear.Ability to conduct typical process calculations such as pressure drops, mass balances, equipment sizing, relief calculationsGood understanding of P&IDs, associated symbols and drafting (overseeing drafting of) them to industry standardsAbility to write Process Descriptions and Cause & Effect Matrices to a detailed design levelUnderstanding of process control, instruments, alarms, interlocks etcUnderstanding of interactions with mechanical and EC&I disciplines for a typical design projectUnderstanding of hazard identification and analysis associated with process systems (e.g. HAZID, HAZOP etc)Understanding of nuclear safety cases including SFRs, SSCs and change requests.BEng/BSc in chemical/process engineering or similar degree.Experience checking design documentation desirable.Ability to write concise, but comprehensive reportsAbility to review legacy documentation and draw conclusions/summariesHands on experience and understanding of how plant worksCommissioning experience and ability to write clear commissioning instructionsDesirable:SC clearedMasters' educationCEng or working towardsUnderstanding of IEC 61508/61511TPBN1_UKTJ
