Everyone has access to unparalleled professional and personal development opportunities and your contribution is always valued.## About this role* We are looking for a security focused Infrastructure Engineer to support and develop critical, largescale onprem Cybersecurity platforms within our Cyber Processing & Data Science capability area.* In this role, you’ll use your expertise to embed security controls into our architectures, processes and ways of working, ensuring alignment with industry best practice. You’ll work closely within a multidisciplined engineering team to meet the needs of both internal and external customers. You will demonstrate technical leadership through the quality of your work, whilst also supporting others through collaboration and knowledge sharing.This role requires 5 days a week onsite. Mon - Fri 37.5 hours per week. DV Security Clearance is required. Must have lived in the UK for 10+ years to obtain clearance.## What youll be doing* Drive improvement in the Platform’s security posture, ensuring that security controls are embedded as early as possible* Take ownership of complex technical deliveries, being confident with ambiguous high-level problem statements* Be a practitioner and advocate in the use of DevSecOps technologies, tools, and practices.* Support the maintenance of existing IT infrastructure* Identify and lead the improvement of inefficient or insecure ways of working## What youll need to succeed* Have a passion for technology, and creating solutions that make new things possible* Be self-driven, able to get to grips with innovative technologies and demonstrate independent research and learning* Demonstrate good problem-solving ability, able to work through issues in a logical manner, documenting solutions as required* Linux* CIS Benchmarks (or similar)* Vulnerability Scanning (i.e, Trivy, Nessus* Security Information and Event Management* Static Code Analysis* Software Bill of Materials (SBOM)* Patch Management* Kubernetes Security Standards## Our PackageTailored benefits make a real difference.
