Job Description:
Under the direction of the VP, Global Benefits, this role will provide maternity cover for the Head of Benefits, EMEA/APAC, responsible for strategy and delivery of employee benefit programs in the EMEA and APAC regions. Leading a small team based in London, you will oversee strategy, administration, and compliance of health, risk, and pension benefits. You will serve as the local subject matter expert on design, compliance, communication, and vendor management. Key initiatives include advancing current projects and collaborating across HR to enhance the employee experience.
Responsibilities include:
1. Manage the EMEA/APAC benefits team to ensure proper operation of health, risk, and pension plans.
2. Manage vendor relationships to optimize investments and employee experience.
3. Communicate benefit programs effectively to ensure compliance and awareness.
4. Collaborate with pension Trustee Boards and third-party advisers.
5. Contribute to HR projects and goals in partnership with other HR leaders.
6. Lead or participate in global benefits projects, including pension strategy, governance, and plan renewals.
Requirements for success:
1. Experience with health and risk benefit programs, including design and compliance.
2. Knowledge of both DC and DB pension schemes and regulatory requirements.
3. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
4. Vendor management experience.
5. Ability to navigate complex situations and prioritize demands.
6. Independent work ethic with initiative and judgment.
