The postholder will be responsible for teaching, curriculum leadership, assessment, and student support while contributing to academic excellence and innovation across campuses.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality teaching and learning, aligned with academic and professional standardsOversee the academic journey of students, including progression, personal support, and developmentLead on module development, review, and delivery using innovative and inclusive teaching methodsProvide timely and constructive formative and summative feedback, in accordance with internal quality processesCoordinate staff teaching cover during absences to ensure continuity of learningAct as a personal academic tutor to support individual student progressMaintain accurate academic records using Moodle and CRM systemsAttend academic and operational meetings to support institutional goalsDesign engaging digital learning resources and support blended delivery modelsParticipate in quality assurance processes and contribute to academic improvement initiativesPromote equality, diversity, and inclusivity within the learning environmentSupport scholarly activity and professional development in line with academic dutiesComply with institutional policies and represent SSS values in professional conductPerson SpecificationEssential:A Master’s degree in Business, Management, or a related disciplineA recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, FHEA)Substantial experience of teaching in a higher education settingDemonstrated experience in leading modules and engaging in curriculum developmentEvidence of research, academic publication, or professional practice contributionsBenefitsSalary is £35,000 - £40,000 plus £5,000 in annual performance-based incentives (pro-rata, subject to successful completion of probation)Full-time position working 40 hours per weekTravel between campuses may be required28 days annual leave, plus bank holidaysUp to £5,000 in annual incentives (pro-rata), awarded quarterly after successful probation5% annual salary increase from anniversary of start date, subject to performance
