Post: Team Leader Responsible to: Deputy Manager Accountable to: Registered Manager
Main Purpose of the Job:
To assist the management team in the co-ordination of the day to day running of the service and to have the responsibility of leading a
team of staff on a daily basis to deliver a high standard of care and support to the people living at Jubilee Court
Under the direction of senior management to assist with the development of the residential facilities within the organisation in response to
changing needs.
To work as part of a whole staff team within the service.
To ensure that the aims and objectives of the service are met at all times and to assist in the development and implementation of policies
and procedures.
To safeguard individuals from all types of abuse and ensure dignity, choice and respect is promoted in all aspects of your duties.
To work within a team in the maintenance of a safe and therapeutic environment for the people we support and to carry out duties as
delegated to facilitate the smooth running of the service.
To support adults with Autism Spectrum Condition to experience life opportunities to promote growth of individuals to their maximum potential.
Management Responsibilities:
To provide support for management at whatever level
To accept delegated responsibilities for the implementation of identified and agreed support plans
To ensure the accurate recording, ordering and safe administration of medication.
To promote the maintenance of sound administrative practices in the service by maintaining comprehensive records for identified the
people we support and by contributing to meetings and case conferences as required.
To supervise the work of staff as delegated by the senior management team
To delegate responsibility where appropriate ensuring that staff understand their individual responsibilities and limitations.
To be responsible for ensuring adequate staff cover at all times to meet the needs of the people we support assessed needs.
To be included on the duty rota, including working weekends, sleep-ins, waking nights and on call rota.
To meet the criteria for standards and its regulations as outlined by the Care Quality Commission and other recognised bodies.
To report any environmental issue which might compromise the health and safety of the people we support, staff and visitors.
To participate in the training and personal development of staff team.
The home provides support to adults from ages 18+ with their everyday living skills like shopping, cleaning and cooking while empowering them to live a fun and fulfilled life. We understand the importance of providing person-centred support which enables independence and meets individual's specific needs and through our outcomes focused approach, we support people to maintain choice and control of their own lives.

Education and Skills Required
* 2 years previous experience in a healthcare setting is compulsory
* Level 2 qualification in Health & Social care is essential
* Fluency in English (both written and verbal)
* Experience of working with challenging behaviour is desired, but not essential
* Competency with modern smartphones as we use a online app based care system
