We are seeking a highly skilled and security-conscious Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS, Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Apigee. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in cloud architecture, automation, and secure platform management, ensuring reliable and compliant deployments. This role involves developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable systems, managing upgrades, and applying robust security controls across CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
* Build, deploy, and monitor solutions using AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, ECS, ECR, DynamoDB, S3, etc.).
* Integrate APIs into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub workflows.
* Design, develop, and manage applications tailored to business needs while customizing platforms and overseeing the API lifecycle using Apigee Edge and X-API strategy.
* Provide technical support and generate insights through analytical reports, enhancing integrations and documentation.
* Regularly audit and upgrade software packages, libraries, and dependencies used in GitHub repositories.
* Maintain and optimize infrastructure components to ensure performance, reliability, and security.
* Design and manage Terraform and Ansible scripts for infrastructure automation and configuration management.
* Develop and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
* Deploy and manage services using AWS ECS, ECR, and Fargate, ensuring scalable and secure microservice environments.
* Use Docker for containerizing applications and improving deployment consistency.
* Manage and secure Apigee or similar API Management platforms, ensuring API governance, performance optimization, and compliance.
* Ensure security and compliance best practices across the platform, including secure coding, dependency management, and vulnerability scanning.
* Implement and enforce API security and access controls using OAuth, API keys, JWT, and other authentication mechanisms.
* Monitor and remediate security vulnerabilities in third-party packages and libraries.
* Collaborate with security teams to align architecture with compliance standards.
* Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for builds, deployments, and updates.
Required Skills
* Expertise in implementing secure coding and vulnerability management practices.
* Strong knowledge of API security, OAuth, JWT, and API Gateway policies.
* Experience in security audits, monitoring, and incident remediation.
* Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO, SOC 2, GDPR) is a plus.
* Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
* Proven experience with AWS cloud architecture and deploying microservices on ECS/ECR/Fargate.
* Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
* Proficiency with Docker for containerization.
* Experience in monitoring tools and performance tuning for large-scale distributed systems.
* Solid knowledge of Apigee or similar API Management platforms.
* Ability to design and implement API strategies, policies, and analytics.
* Experience developing and integrating APIs with secure and scalable design principles.
