We are currently seeking a Semi- Skilled Delivery officer to join Us on one of the UK’s most prestigious Ministry of Defence headquarters sites, supporting a complex, high-profile operational environment. This is a critical role where customer service, integrity, and operational excellence are key. Working alongside the SCIDA, CIS Project & CIS Infra Teams, to gain understanding and experience within all aspects of the SCIDA & CIS contractual delivery. Development of this role will be provided through skills transfer within the respective teams and accredited training courses approved through an agreed development plan.
Key Responsibilities:
1. SCIDA - Assist with the site wide delivery of all CIS associated project delivery ensuring adherence to the SCIDA Framework Document for all areas of project delivery. Provide assistance, with the agreed annual inspection programme and highlight non-compliance issues where required & gain an overall understanding of SCIDA associated standards and applications.
2. CIS Projects - Gain a clear understanding of end-to-end CIS project delivery, assisting with the overall delivery of small-medium projects to ensure they are completed to budget, in time and adhering to defined processes.
3. CIS Infra- Assist with all associated CIS project delivery to ensure works are completed in line with the site’s installation standards.
Skills /Experience:
4. Knowledge of CIS, ICT, electrical installation & Project delivery would be an advantage.
5. Applicants will be required to be able to demonstrate good interpersonal, communication & organisation skills.
6. Retention in the role is subject to successful acquisition & maintaining of a security vetting clearance at developed vetting (DV).
7. Ability to draft technical reports, policy, procedure, and process documentation.
8. An understanding of the basic principles of AutoCAD and Celsius is desirable.
9. Ability to communicate with all stakeholders and to represent all sections within the CIS/SCIDA team in meetings with other departments.
10. Good written, verbal, and graphical presentation skills
Knowledge of office 365 is desirable
This role requires a minimum level of security clearance and may also require a higher level of National Security Vetting. You should be aware that certain levels of clearance or specific projects and/or sites have UK residency requirements; and any dual or multiple nationalities must be declared. Any persons who do not fulfil these residencies requirements may be unable to obtain the required level of clearance and would not be eligible to undertake this role.
