Overview
Job Title: Production Operative
Location: Dover, Kent (must have your own transport due to location and shifts)
Salary: Days £12.30 per hour | Nights £14.15 per hour. Increasing to £12.60 per hour (days) and £14.50 per hour (nights) after a 3-month probation and further increases once competent in all six areas (usually achieved within 6 - 12 months).
Hours: 4 on 4 off rotating days & nights - 5.45am - 6.15pm and 5.45pm - 6.15am

Role Summary
As a Production Operative you will play a key role in the manufacturing process, ensuring products are produced to specification, on time and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on position, working as part of a team in a busy production environment.

Key responsibilities
* Stack and organise finished products in designated areas.
* Load and unload panels onto pallets, racks or transport equipment.
* Ensure panels are handled carefully to avoid damage during stacking or movement.
* Assist machine operators by removing completed products from the production line.
* Carry out quality checks during and after production.
* Accurately record inspection results, highlighting non-conformances and reporting defects.
* Operate forklifts, pallet trucks or other material handling equipment (if trained).
* Load and prepare materials on the line ready for production.
* Use production machinery to manufacture products.
Experience and skills
* Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
* Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment
* Good time-management and reliability
* Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks
* A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn
