Change Hospitality is partnering with an established independent artisan bakery in West London to recruit an experienced Senior Baker with a genuine passion for naturally fermented breads and traditional baking methods.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected neighbourhood bakery known for quality, consistency, and a strong focus on sourdough production.
The Role Youll play a key role in leading daily production, maintaining exceptional product standards, and supporting the wider bakery team in delivering outstanding artisan breads, cinnamon buns and other baked goods.
This is a daytime-hours position across four days per week, offering an excellent work-life balance rarely found within the industry.
Key Responsibilities Leading sourdough and artisan bread production
Managing fermentation schedules and dough development
Mixing, shaping, baking, and quality control
Supporting and mentoring junior bakers
Maintaining consistency across all products
Working closely with ownership on seasonal development and production planning
Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety
What Were Looking For Strong artisan bakery experience in a senior or lead baker role
Excellent knowledge of sourdough fermentation and long-proof processes
Passion for traditional baking techniques and ingredient quality
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
