Ashford School is an independent, coeducational, day and boarding school for children from 0-18, founded in 1898.There are nearly 1000 students in the whole School, divided equally between the Senior School (11-18) and the Prep School and Nurseries (0-11). We expect the number of students in the Senior School to grow over the next ten years and are planning developments which will allow this to happen progressively. We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Learning Support Assistant to provide1:1 support selected pupils across all year groups. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students who have additional learning needs, helping them access the curriculum and thrive in a supportive environment.
Working under the guidance of the Head of Learning Enhancement, you will support students both in lessons and through targeted 1:1 sessions. The role spans a variety of subjects and key stages, offering a dynamic and fulfilling experience.
We’re seeking someone with experience in a mainstream secondary school, strong communication and organisational skills, and a flexible, team-oriented mindset. A good understanding of complex learning needs is highly desirable.
GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4+) are essential.
