Main Duties
* Actively source products and services for customers and internal requirements in the UK and globally, negotiating competitive prices and terms with suppliers.
* Support the team in developing procurement plans that align with the company's goals, helping to ensure consistent supply of materials and considering backup options where needed.
* Help identify ways to reuse or recycle materials to reduce waste, lower the need for new materials, and find opportunities to repurpose products.
* Assist in tracking and organising product and service renewals, helping to ensure they meet contract requirements and service level agreements.
* Plan and manage own and team's workload to meet deadlines; understand priorities and be responsible for delivery.
* Ensure products and suppliers are compliant and fully certified, meeting UK and EU standards, and aligned with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 requirements. Confirm suitability for organisations with specific needs, such as schools and local authorities.

Job responsibilities
* Work closely with the Team leader to support a range of tasks, including creating quotes, raising purchase orders, managing inventory, helping with licence provisioning, assisting in supplier selection, and supporting solution implementation and supplier relationships.
* Assist in researching suppliers, market conditions, and costs to help the team identify opportunities, resolve issues, and support the delivery of cost-effective and compliant purchasing arrangements for Zenzero.
* Support the procurement team in following best practices for contract management and supplier relationships, helping to ensure contracts are set up to deliver good value for money in both cost and performance. Assist with managing supplier relationships and contracts where needed.
