St Ivo Academy is a large 11-18 comprehensive academy located in the town of St Ives, Cambridgeshire. With around 1400 students, including 300 in our Sixth Form, we are proud of our 70-year history and our place within the local community. We are truly comprehensive and inclusive, supporting students from all backgrounds and abilities, from those preparing for Oxbridge to the most vulnerable.

Influenced by Lemov’s ‘Teach Like A Champion’, Rosenshine, and cognitive science, we believe in explicit instruction and teaching powerful knowledge. Our scholarly culture is warm and strict, disciplined and joyful, ensuring impeccable behaviour so teachers can focus on teaching and pupils on learning.
