Attractive six figure base salary plus Bonus
Our client is an international, fully integrated forest-to-product company, with group revenue of circa £1billion. The UK business operates as a sales & distribution office and represents the largest market outside of the international headquarters, generating around £60million in customer spend.
Their offer includes timber, wood and building systems and they sell to industrial and retail (DIY) customers, distributors / merchants as well as to builders and contractors.
Due to retirement, the business now needs to appoint a new UK Managing Director, to continue to lead the business on its growth trajectory.
Our ideal person will be experienced in developing high-quality customer relationships and driving sustainable growth through strong team leadership and innovative sales strategies. It is important to have a successful track-record of managing and leading a sales/commercial team with a strong financial understanding of P&L budgets, and cashflow, and will have a strong focus on profit and margin.
This experience might have been gained in another timber/wood business or from another building materials environment with similar customers and distribution channels.
