Registered Service Manager – Residential Mental Health
Location: Bexhill-on-Sea
Salary: £52,500 + £5,825 performance bonus
CONTRACTOR PAY - £300-£350pd
Hours: Full-time
About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Service Manager to lead a specialist residential service in Bexhill-on-Sea. The home supports working-age adults with Mental Health needs, providing a safe, structured, and person-centred environment.

Essential Experience:
*
Previous experience managing or supervising within a Mental Health or Learning Disability residential service
*
Strong background supporting working-age adults
*
Experience leading staff teams and overseeing service delivery
*
Familiarity with CQC regulations and quality standards
Key Responsibilities:
*
Lead the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring excellent standards of care and support
*
Develop and implement person-centred care plans, supporting service users to achieve positive outcomes
*
Oversee and guide the staff team, providing supervision, coaching, and professional development
*
Drive occupancy levels, build relationships with care teams, and promote the service locally
*
Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding, health & safety, and all statutory requirements
*
Manage budgets, staffing rotas, and resources effectively
*
Liaise with families, social workers, mental health teams, and other external agencies
*
Conduct audits, quality checks, and continuous improvement processes
*
Attend CPA/CTO/Professional meetings, providing detailed reports and assessments
*
Lead risk assessments, safeguarding investigations, and incident management
*
Take part in an on-call rota as required
About You:
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive manager who is:

Experienced in managing services for adults with Mental Health needs and/or Learning Disabilities

Skilled in leading and developing care teams
*
Passionate about person-centred care and promoting independence
*
Confident working with complex cases and multidisciplinary professionals
*
Organised, financially astute, and compliance-focused
*
Committed to maintaining and developing a positive reputation for the service
