Job Description Finance Assistant (Credit Control) - FTC (3 Months), MK41 Job Purpose: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant (Credit Control) to join our Finance team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a respected educational charity that is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing school fee accounts across four schools, ensuring timely payments and maintaining accurate financial records. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct daily reviews and monitoring of school fee arrears reports. Communicate with account holders to resolve overdue payments in a professional and efficient manner. Use and maintain communication templates in line with established policies. Record and follow up on returned direct debits. Support the Billing Manager with escalated cases as required. Person Specification: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Experience: Extensive experience in a credit control environment is essential. Hours of Work: Full-time, 37 hours per week. Monday to Friday.
