What We’re Looking For Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification) Proven experience in a Children’s Residential Support Worker role Solid understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and Ofsted regulations Familiarity with trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches to care Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills Resilient, patient, and passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives What’s in it for you? Be a positive role model, promoting healthy routines, positive behaviour, and emotional resilience. Support children with complex needs through structured activities, education, and daily living tasks. Lead and mentor junior team members, ensuring high standards of care. Work closely with external professionals (e.g. social workers, schools, health services) to implement and review personalised care plans.
